JUMPSTART OVERVIEW

The JumpStart program at WSU Tech offers high school and homeschool students the opportunity to earn college credits while still in high school. This initiative provides two primary pathways: 

1. Classes at High School: Students enroll in courses located inside their high school which count for both high school and college credit, facilitating a seamless transition to higher education. 

2. Classes at a WSU Tech campus: High school students can take tuition-free CTE classes, gaining skills that prepare them for high-wage careers immediately after graduation. 

By participating in JumpStart, students can reduce the time and cost required to complete a college degree or enter the workforce with valuable certifications.
