For campus security call: 316-677-1911

The safety and security of all individuals while on WSU Tech property and in all classrooms and laboratories are of the utmost importance.  Although safety and security is everyone’s responsibility, WSU Tech works closely with local law enforcement to provide a safe and secure environment.

In compliance with Federal, State and local laws, WSU Tech has developed and distributes a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan and policies that directly effects and impacts the students, faculty and staffs’ safety.  In addition, WSU Tech recommends students and employees familiarize themselves with recommended security and prevention methods. All individuals are reminded to always be conscious of their surroundings and immediately report all suspicious activities to administration, on campus security, local law enforcement or a faculty member.  Security information is available to anyone from administration at each location.

For more information about safety policies, as well as personal safety suggestions or the most current crime statistics for any campus, contact the WSU Tech Safety and Security coordinator by submitting an e-mail request.

WSU Tech’s Annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by WSU Tech and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters.

The following safety and security information is available from our Policies and Procedures section.
