WSU Tech is a Kansas Board of Regents Institution and is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Credits earned at WSU Tech are often easily transferred to other colleges and universities. Academic Advisors are available to help guide students through the transfer process and develop an academic plan. It is ultimately the student’s responsibility to confirm transferability and course equivalency with the receiving institution.
Transfer Credits:
Coursework from a regionally accredited institution with a grade of C or better may be considered for transfer credit. WSU Tech requires official transcripts which are evaluated by the registrar and/or appropriate dean. Transfer credits are not included in the student’s WSU Tech cumulative GPA but the credit hours are applied to the program award requirements.
Articulation:
The Kansas Board of Regents maintains Kansas System-Wide Transfer courses (KSWT) on its website, which makes it easy for students to take and transfer certain credits to any public postsecondary institutions. Click here to view KSWT courses.
In addition to the Board of Regents’ system-wide transfer, WSU Tech also holds articulation agreements with the following postsecondary institutions:
There is a growing list of courses approved by the Kansas Board of Regents for guaranteed transfer among all Kansas public postsecondary institutions. Click here for more information. |
Students who transfer to a Kansas public university from a Kansas public community college or technical college are eligible for Reverse Transfer, which allows for the attainment of any associate degree for which one is eligible along the way to additional certificates and degrees.
