Shocker Pathway is a partnership between WSU Tech and Wichita State University (WSU) that provides an affordable, convenient way to earn a two-year Associate of Arts (AA) degree from WSU.
Shocker Pathway students earn their associate degree by beginning their general education studies at WSU Tech and earn up to 50 credits for transfer to WSU. Upon completion of an additional 15 credit hours of general education courses at WSU, students will earn an AA degree from WSU.
Follow these steps to get started:
Apply for admission at wsutech.edu/apply and select “General Education-Transfer” as your planned program of study.
Take the COMPASS placement test or have your ACT scores sent to WSU Tech.
If you have attended college somewhere else, have your transcripts sent to WSU Tech’s office of the registrar.
File for federal financial aid at fafsa.ed.gov.
Meet with an Academic Advisor at WSU Tech to discuss your academic and career goals.
