How much do courses cost?

Varies by course. Some employer-sponsored options are available.

When & where are classes offered?

There are a variety of options available. Depending on subject matter & training outcomes, courses can be in person, online (or both), and last from one day to multiple weeks.

How do I enroll & pay for classes?

Registration process & cost will vary class to class. Most courses will require registration and enrollment through gettrained.wsutech.edu/search.cfm

Students will pay for courses on their own or employers may work with WSU Tech to arrange for employees to register for training and cover that cost.

Do I need to be enrolled at WSU Tech?

No. Training & Workforce Innovation courses are separate from credit-bearing courses. However, if you currently have a WSU Tech account, it is required that you use an alternative email account to enroll and register in Training & Workforce Innovation courses.

Can I earn college credit by taking Training & Workforce Innovation courses?

No, not at this time. These upskilling and training classes are for professional credit and in some instances, industry-recognized certificates but will not earn you college credit on their own. To see our college credit programs, visit WSUTECH.edu/ admissions/programs-of-study

Who are the instructors?

Instructors will range from WSU Tech faculty & staff to industry & subject-matter experts.

Do I need supplies or books for class?

The course description will dictate any prerequisites or necessary supplies

Do I have to have any prior knowledge in the subject to take a class?

The course listings will dictate any prerequisites needed.

Will I receive something to show my employer that I’ve completed a class?

There may be an opportunity to receive a certification or badge from WSU Tech or an industry-recognized certificate at the completion of a training program. Each course is unique.
