WSU Tech NCAT Expansion Project
The NCAT Expansion Project introduces a new facility to WSU Tech’s flagship campus at the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) that presents an opportunity to drive workforce expansion and meet critical industry demands in emerging and advanced aviation, as well as advanced manufacturing and automation. The training facility will provide WSU Tech expanded infrastructure, innovation, and capacity to target credit and non-credit opportunities for students and trainees.
As workforce demands rapidly evolve with the advancement of new technologies, technical colleges across the nation are facing capacity constraints.
WSU Tech is no exception, experiencing record breaking enrollment growth as more students seek the skills required by today’s high-demand industries. To continue leading in this space, WSU Tech must expand.
The 85,500-square-foot addition, comprised of a new, two-level training facility and a hangar, is an essential investment in the regional and national economy for long-term impacts of job creation, increased workforce participation, and sustained competitiveness in a global market.
