In WSU Tech’s Fall STEM challenge students are tasked with interviewing a mechanic or automotive professional to learn about a common car problem, repair process, or maintenance need. Then you will identify one real-world automotive challenge and create a solution or improvement that addresses the issue. Submit your work by December 4th, 2026 for a chance to win a prize!

WSU Tech will be closed and classes will be canceled Wednesday, Dec. 5 in observance of the National Day of Mourning for President George H.W. Bush.
Weather update: All classes are canceled and college offices will be closed Thursday, Feb. 7. For events at the college, contact the event organizer for more information. WSU Tech will resume its normal schedule on Friday, Feb. 8.
ATTENTION: All WSU Tech locations will be closed starting Monday, Nov. 21st through Friday, Nov. 25th for Fall Break. Offices will resume normal business hours Monday, Nov. 28th.
