Thank you for your Wichita Promise Scholarship application!

The Wichita Promise scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first serve basis to those who qualify. To be considered for the scholarship you must complete the following steps.

Here are your next steps:

Step 1 — Apply to WSU Tech www.wsutech.edu/apply
• This short application will take you about 10 minutes to complete and there is no application fee.

Step 2 — Complete the FAFSA application www.studentaid.gov/. (The WSU Tech school code is 005498)
• To be eligible for the scholarship you must complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting STUDENTAID.gov and, if required, provide additional documents requested by the Department of Education.

Step 3 — Enroll with your Academic Advisor
• You will be assigned to an academic advisor based on your program of study. Please contact your advisor to get enrolled. Funds are limited so do not wait. You can find a list of contact information at WSUTECH.edu/Contact-an-Advisor

Step 4 — Determine Eligibility for other Scholarships
• Wichita Promise funds are limited, and are reserved for students who do not meet eligibility criteria for other scholarships. Ask your advisor for details or view more scholarships at https://wsutech.edu/payingforcollege/scholarships/

Your application is pending approval. If you have questions or concerns regarding your scholarship application, please contact Financial Aid. In order to receive the scholarship, you must be enrolled in the qualifying program and complete your financial aid package.
