We have been experiencing a high volume of applications and urge that you do not wait to complete the following steps to be considered for the scholarship.

Here are your next steps:

The Wichita Promise scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first serve basis. To be considered for the scholarship you must complete the following steps.

Step 1 — Apply to WSU Tech www.WSUTECH.edu/apply
• This short application will take you about 10 minutes to complete and there is no application fee.

Step 2 — Complete the FAFSA application www.fafsa.ed.gov. (The WSU Tech school code is 005498)
• To be eligible for the scholarship you must complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting FAFSA.ed.gov and, if required, provide additional documents requested by the Department of Education.

Step 3 — Provide copy of official layoff notification and acceptance into Workforce Approved Training Program
• To be eligible for the scholarship you must be personally impacted by the 737 layoffs (Spirit or supply chain) and be accepted to participate in an approved training program through Workforce Alliance.

Step 4 — Enroll with your Academic Advisor
• You will be assigned to an academic advisor based on your program of study. Once you complete your application for admissions (Step 1), your advisor will contact you. You can also find a list of contact information at www.WSUTECH.edu/Contact-an-Advisor
