On Thursday, July 1, 2021, WSU Tech announced that they are relaunching their Wichita Promise Scholarship. The original program was launched in April of 2016 and is designed to increase Wichita’s skilled workforce by removing barriers that keep individuals from getting trained. The scholarship program pays tuition and fees for specific high-demand jobs, provides training, credentials, certifications, personal career coaching by WSU Tech’s Career Services department, and an exclusive interview opportunity with our industry partners.
For the Fall 2021 semester, WSU Tech is looking to address the workforce needs in the healthcare sector. The two eligible areas of study for the scholarship include Certified Nurse Aide and Phlebotomy.
