Wichita, Kan – April 11, 2016, Nick Pinchuk, Chairman and CEO of Snap-on Incorporated, and other Snap-on representatives made a surprise visit to WSU Tech’s main campus, the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT). Snap-on has been a long time partner of WSU Tech by providing equipment and tools for students, funding for lab renovations and scholarships and through sponsorship of large events such as WSU Tech’s Manufacturing Day and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Signing Day.
Nick Pinchuk expressed his reaction of his first to visit WSU Tech by saying “I was impressed and encouraged with the National Center for Aviation Training at WSU Tech. The staff is focused on delivering the specific high-tech skills that are needed by the Aviation industry, and they have the world-class facilities to make it possible. WSU Tech is a model for our Nation and a beacon on the way to a prosperous American future. Snap-on looks forward to our continued partnership with WSU Tech to enable and prepare young people for fulfilling careers in aviation manufacturing or maintenance and repair.”
