NEW to WSU Tech is a first-time freshman scholarship called, Future You. This two-year scholarship is designed for graduating seniors who plan to attend WSU Tech this Fall. Recipients of the scholarship will receive $600 each year that will renew for up to two years to be used towards technical education or general education classes.

• Applicants for the Future You scholarship must be a 2024 high school graduate.
• The Future You scholarship is $600 per year ($300 per semester) that can be applied to tuition and fees for technical education AND general education courses for the Fall and Spring semesters. 
• The Future You scholarship is automatically renewable for up to two years for students who are awarded and meet the scholarship criteria.
• Students are required to be enrolled in a full-time (12 credit hours) schedule and begin classes in the Fall 2024 semester.
• Students must submit an official high school transcript with graduation date listed and have a cumulative 2.75 GPA on their high school transcript.
• No ACT/SAT scores or FAFSA application are required to receive the scholarship.
• Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA or higher and be in good standing while in the Future You scholarship program.
• Textbooks and inclusive access fees are not covered and maybe an additional expense.
• The Future You scholarship is stackable with other scholarships and is applied prior to any financial aid.
• This promotion is redeemable only at WSU Tech, not Wichita State University or any other college or university.
• The Future You scholarship application is only available for the 2024 Fall semester.
• Participation is limited and will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis to those who meet the eligibility requirements.

• Must be a high school graduate in 2024, prior to the start of the Fall 2024 semester.
• Must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA on their high school transcript.
• Must submit an official high school transcript with graduation date and GPA to WSU Tech.
• Can be a new WSU Tech student or a previous JumpStart student.
  • If a prior student with WSU Tech they must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0.
• Must complete both scholarship application and application for admissions to WSU Tech.
• Must enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the 2024 Fall semester.
• Must meet individual course admissions requirements.
• Must be able to meet all eligibility requirements prior to the deadline.
