 2 Year Certificate Programs

WSU Tech offers a variety of degree and certificate programs. We have short-term certificates of completion that take just a few weeks to months, 1 year technical certificates, and 2 year certificate programs and degrees.

Two year colleges can be technical colleges or community colleges. WSU Tech offers 2 year certificate programs that will lead to an Associate of Applied Science upon completion, as well as industry credentials in some programs.

Technical certificate programs

If a 2 year certificate program sounds too time consuming, WSU Tech also offers technical certificate programs. This degree is usually earned in half the time as the two year certificate. After around a year of classes, graduates will have earned their degree and will be ready to earn industry credentials.

Get your two year engineering certificate to earn your Associate of applied science at WSU Tech. Then transfer to a four year university, like Kansas State University or Wichita State University to earn your Bachelor’s Degree in engineering.

 2 year nursing program

WSU Tech is a great place to complete your first year of a two year nursing program. In one year, you can become a licensed practical nurse.

Before beginning nursing school, it is helpful to go through our certified nurses assistant program. This certificate will give students the hands-on experience that can help them get admitted to nursing school, and continue on to two year RN programs.
