The WSU Tech Food Pantry provides food assistance to WSU Tech students. Students can utilize the food pantry once every two weeks and may take up to 25 items per visit. To be eligible to access the pantry, a student must be currently enrolled at WSU Tech. Use of the pantry is free and discrete.

If you’d like to donate items to the WSU Tech Food Pantry, please refer to our list of needed items below. Donations can be dropped off at any of our campus’ front desks.

Financial Contributions
If you would like to make a financial contribution to the WSU Tech Food Pantry, which will help the pantry purchase needed food supplies, you can make a donation through the WSU Tech Foundation with a note to direct your donation to the WSU Tech Food Pantry.

Mental Health Services.
Counseling Services
WSU Tech provides counseling and crisis intervention services to enrolled students through the WSU CAPS Department. Licensed counselors are available on Tuesday at the WSU Tech South campus location during business hours.
Counseling appointments cost $10 a session. If this is difficult for you to meet, speak to your counselor about reduced cost.

Refer A Friend
This form is used to refer a friend/classmate that you feel may need to utilize the counseling services at WSU Tech. This form is not for emergency use and you should contact 911 if this is an emergency. Your submission on this form will be anonymous but it is crucial for all of the form to be filled out for sufficient follow up. Please provide as many details as possible. Case Management Services
Case Management Services are a free resource offered to WSU Tech students. This service is intended to provide students with academic and personal assistance by Student Success Coaches:
- Application for public assistance including SNAP benefits, WIC or Medicaid
- Referrals to campus and community resources – For services and support including housing, health care, child care and utility assistance
- Assessment of student needs
- Emotional support
- Student advocacy
- Individual meetings with students and follow–up appointments as needed

Emergency Funds
The purpose of the Emergency Loan Fund at WSU Tech is to meet temporary and minor financial emergencies that may arise while a student is in attendance at the college.
These funds are not intended to be used for routine expenses or as an alternative to financial aid. Requests must be urgent in nature due to a temporary hardship, event, or unforeseeable circumstance.
Eligibility Requirements
- Currently enrolled at WSU Tech
- Minimum 2.00 GPA
- In good standing with financial aid, not in denied status
Application and Award Procedures
Students in need of emergency financial assistance may submit a request by contacting their Success Coach. Emergency Loan Fund awards will be distributed in a fashion appropriate to the request needs. Emergency funds are interest-free, but repayment-in-full is required so that others may also benefit from the loans.
