Aira Access at WSU TechÂ
Aira Access is a technology that combines the power of Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality to provide access to information and assistance for blind and low vision individuals.
WSU Tech and Wichita State University now provide Aira Access at all campus locations.
Aira combines the power of Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality with wearable technologies, plus the interaction of its network of trained remote human assistants, to provide the 300 million blind and low vision people around the globe immediate access to information and assistance. Airaâs technology not only greatly enhances independence and mobility for those with vision loss, but also forms the basis of its endeavor to create smart cities that are accessible for all.

How to use Aira
- Download the AppâŻ(available for iOS and Android smartphones) The Aira.io home page has a form where you can enter your phone number and it will send a download link to your phone.

Students and Aira
WSU Tech students using Aira can request to be added to the university’s account as academic users. Academic users will be able to use the university’s Aira Access account for academic work even if they are not on campus. To request this service, please contact the Student Accessibility and Support Services office at SASS@wsutech.edu.
