Thank you for your Para Educator Scholarship application!

The Para Educator scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first serve basis to those who qualify. To be considered for the scholarship you must complete the following steps.

For Summer (EDU 120 Introduction to Teaching course) 

Step 1 — Apply to WSU Tech www.wsutech.edu/apply 
 • This short application will take you about 10 minutes to complete and there is no application fee.

Step 2 — Enroll with your Academic Advisor
 • You will be assigned to an academic advisor as soon as you complete the application for admission. Please schedule an appointment at this link to get enrolled https://wsutechadvising.as.me/Thalia. Funds are limited so do not wait. 

For Fall 2024 (First full semester of Para Educator) limited to the first 10 students to complete all requirements 

Step 1 — Enroll in the summer EDU 120 – Introduction to Teaching course (See Steps above) 

Step 2 — Enroll in the fall Para Educator program classes (EDU 140, EDU 160, and other required courses ). Your advisor will assist with your fall enrollment. 

Step 3 — Complete the FAFSA application https://studentaid.gov/. (The WSU Tech school code is 005498) 
 • To be eligible for the scholarship you must complete Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by visiting https://studentaid.gov/ and, if required, provide additional documents requested by the Department of Education.
